However, these efforts come with substantial costs. Monthly feeding expenses exceed $150, water bills are exorbitant, and a recent cold snap caused their electric bill to spike to over $600. Their rescue operations are hampered by limited transportation, relying on a small car or borrowed trucks. A dedicated box truck and consistent donations are urgently needed to continue their mission.
Florida Fish Rescue welcomes volunteers to assist with fish pickups, maintenance, fundraising, video production, and more. They also accept financial contributions and in-kind donations, including vehicles, supplies, or expertise.
